About Lone Star Guide
Being your own Guide with Lone Star Guide
Our goal is to provide the best gear and information so everyone can experience Texas as we do. Fishing e-Guides come from years of growing up on the Texas coast, exploring all across the state, and working with local world-class guides. View our Fishing e-Guides for GPS coordinates and tracks that will show you the exact spots where we catch fish and how to catch them. Never again wonder where the fish are biting. Whether it’s drifting Galveston Bay for schools of speckled trout, fly fishing the Houston bayous for sunfish and carp, stand up paddle boarding the grass flats of Matagorda with tailing redfish, wade fishing around Port O’Connor for flounder, kayak fishing around Port Aransas and Rockport, poling a skiff in Corpus Christi Bay, our catching monsters in Baffin and Lower Laguna Madre we have it here. Read more about us and our adventures in our blog.

Lone Star Gear
The Lone Star Gear we sell in our store is designed and made by us personally, one at a time. The LSG fishing stringer, ez-holder, wade box, and boga/pliers float embodies our style of simple fishing. This way more focus can be spent on your surroundings which ultimately leads to better times and more fish.
Lone Star Guide Mission
Most importantly, our passion is preserving and sharing everything wild in Texas. We want every person to know and experience what we love so much about Texas, thus why we started the guide. Always remember that you own a stake of what’s public in Texas and must actively seek to maintain and preserve it. #LoneStarGuide #PublicWaterOwner
